  • Start at the Metekhi Church : Begin your day with a panoramic view from the cliffside church overlooking the Mtkvari River. See the equestrian statue of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the city’s founder.
  • Cross the Bridge of Peace & Ride the Cable Car : Walk across the modern, iconic Bridge of Peace into Rike Park. From here, take the cable car up to the Narikala Fortress. (on additional payment )
  • Explore Narikala Fortress & Mother Georgia :Wander through the ancient fortress ruins. Don’t miss the stunning viewpoint overlooking the entire Old Town and the river. Visit the giant "Mother of Georgia" (Kartlis Deda) statue nearby.
  • Descend into the Old Town & Sulfur Baths : Walk down the winding, cobblestone path from the fortress directly into the historic Abanotubani (Sulfur Bath District). Admire the distinctive domed bathhouse architecture, especially the ornate blue-tiled Orbeliani Bathhouse.
  • Find the Waterfall & Visit Sioni Cathedral: Follow the small creek through the brick arch to discover the hidden Legvtakhevi Waterfall.
  • Then, walk to the Sioni Cathedral, home to the sacred Cross of St. Nino.
