Itinerary

  • Arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport at 00:15 hrs on 28 December.
  • Meet and assist by our representative
  • Depart the airport at 00:45 hrs and transfer to Kynrock Airport Garden Hotel (approx. 10 km / 15–20 mins).
  • Arrive at the hotel around 01:05–01:15 hrs.
  • Freshen up and rest until 05:30 hrs.
  • Breakfast at the hotel from 06:00 – 06:30 hrs.
  • Depart the hotel at 06:30 hrs and proceed to Sigiriya (approx. 150 km / 3.5–4 hrs).
  • Arrive in Sigiriya and check in at Lavendish Sigiriya around 10:00–10:30 hrs.
  • Spend some leisure time at the hotel to relax and rest.
  • Depart the hotel at 14:00–14:30 hrs for Kaudulla National Park (approx. 50 km / 1–1.5 hrs one way).
  • Arrive at the park around 15:00–15:30 hrs and enjoy an evening jeep safari (approx. 2.5–3 hrs) to spot Asian Elephants and other wildlife.
  • Depart Kaudulla at 17:30–18:00 hrs and return to Lavendish Sigiriya.
  • Arrive back at the hotel around 18:30–19:30 hrs
  • Enjoy dinner at the hotel from 19:30 – 21:30 hrs.
  • Depart Lavendish Sigiriya at 05:30 hrs for Sigiriya Rock Fortress (approx. 5–8 km / 10–15 mins).
  • Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress at sunrise and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views (approx. 1.5–2 hrs on site).
  • Return to the hotel between 07:30 – 08:00 hrs.

  • Check out and depart from Lavendish Sigiriya at 09:30 hrs towards Kandy.
  • Photo stop at Golden Buddha Statue – Dambulla(Sigiriya ? Dambulla approx. 20 km / 30 mins; stop 15–20 mins).
  • Proceed to Matale Spice Garden for a guided tour and lunch(Dambulla ? Matale approx. 55 km / 1–1.5 hrs; visit + lunch approx. 1.5–2 hrs).
  • Depart Matale at 13:30–14:00 hrs and continue to Kandy (Matale ? Kandy approx. 30 km / 45–60 mins).
  • Arrive at Lavendish Kandy around 14:30–15:00 hrs.
  • Check in and freshen up until 16:00 hrs.
  • Depart hotel at 16:00 hrs for the Kandy Gem Shop (10–15 mins).
